Accessible learning

The Parenting Centre has a long established partnership with Open College Network London (OCNL) and offers certification for its bespoke units as well as for a wider range of courses offered by OCNL. The Parenting Centre shares OCN’s mission “to help create a fairer society where everyone, whatever their educational background, has an opportunity to benefit from learning, realise their potential and fulfil their goals”. In simple terms, we aim to make all of our learning opportunities accessible.

Proof of learning improves self-confidence, employability and professional development. The Parenting Centre’s bespoke units, approved by Open College Network are a Family Skills unit (Entry level, Level 1 & Level 2) and Training to Work with Parents for Professionals and Volunteers (Level 3).
